Tasks

Act as the primary engineering contact between design, manufacturing, quality, supplier’s teams.
Review and resolve production and assembly design issues.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, models, and design intent for cross-functional teams.
Support disposition of non-conformances, deviations, waivers, and concession requests.
Investigate root causes of technical issues and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with design engineering teams to evaluate proposed changes and their impact on cost, quality, safety, and schedule.
Provide timely engineering support to manufacturing and operations to minimize disruptions.
Participate in design reviews, production readiness reviews, and problem-solving meetings.
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
Document technical decisions, issue resolutions, and lessons learned.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to producibility, reliability, maintainability, and quality.
Collaborate with suppliers to clarify design requirements and resolve technical concerns.

Expectations

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
Experience in design engineering, manufacturing engineering, product support, or liaison engineering.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and bills of materials.
Knowledge of product lifecycle processes, configuration control, and engineering change management.
Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methods.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
